Ingredients
- 500 ml (2 cups) extra firm tofu, cubed
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) canola oil
- 1 large onion, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) soy sauce
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) oyster sauce, vegetarian
- 750 ml (3 cups) bean sprouts
- 1 Bird's eye chili, seeded and finely chopped
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) sesame oil
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) Chinese chives
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a wok, sauté the tofu cubes in the canola oil for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add the onion and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, bean sprouts, chili, sesame oil, chives and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Check seasoning.
